Architecture, Building and Structure Design Parque Chapultepec II Office Building by Abraham Cherem The project is a back office at the heart of Naucalpan, an industrial zone in the metropolitan área of Mexico city. This area is in the midst of an astounding transformation: changing from factories to commercial centers, offices and, on a smaller scale, residential areas and cultural centers. In this building, a particular emphasis was given to achieving a functional and structural coherence that responded to a central characteristic of the industrial typology being transformed. Materials from the area, which also respond well in an office building, were chosen: concrete, steel and glass.
