Volcano Visitor Center Exhibition

Haisheng Xu

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Volcano Visitor Center Exhibition by Haisheng Xu Set into the volcanic terrain, the project softens the boundary between building and landscape, creating a continuous sequence of light, earth, and horizon. By pairing sheltered spaces below with a shaped roofscape above, it mediates between architecture and environment, protecting the site while enriching experience. Visitors engage with nature directly, becoming part of its conditions. Through shifting viewpoints and controlled light, the architecture frames silence, scale, and sky, heightening awareness of climate, geology, and time.
