AD House Single Family Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design AD House Single Family Residence by FLÁVIO MELO FRANCO Contemporary features define this project. Concrete and gray tones make up the color palette and natural materials such as stone and wood were used. Slats in carbonized wood using an old Japanese technique, located on the west and south facade, protect the living and dining room from the intense sun in the afternoon. The windows throughout the house have a smoked film, reducing the light intensity in double height environments. Lighting is another important point in this project: at night the house transforms into a beautiful composition of lights and shadows.
