Jobcenter Berlin Administration Building

Elisabeth Rüthnick

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Jobcenter Berlin Administration Building by Elisabeth Rüthnick The extension of the town hall from the 1960s in Berlin, Germany, was converted by SSP Ruthnick Architekten and technically as well as energetically updated to the latest technological standards. A special influence on the plans for the transformation of the listed ensemble was the preservation of the draft character of Fritz Bornemann (1912-2007). The conversion and interior renovation has created a striking example of preserving a building from the post-war modern era.
