Architecture, Building and Structure Design Bzj Textile Factory by KEREM Akin The second facade covers the upper part of the factory, giving the heavy concrete structure a certain lightness. While uncovered structural elements and exposed infrastructure in the lofty spaces remind its occupants of the industrial environment, the mid-century modern furniture and playful graphic artworks create an almost lofty atmosphere. The perforated facade is refracting the light at different angles according to the position of the sun, blocking out the heat while adding dynamics to the space and offering the occupants privacy from the outside.
